Ordering Information:
For Quantities totaling less than 50 lbs.:
Add to Cart links are now available for book orders to Slavica via PayPal payment.
U.S. and International Standard Shipping:
Please allow 2 business days for items to ship domestically via USPS Media Mail or internationally via our distributor. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery inside the U.S. and 4 weeks for international delivery.
Continental U.S. Expedited Shipping:
Rates are also available via Expedited service inside the continental United States. If your state qualifies, the option will appear in the shipping options in the PayPal checkout menu. Delivery can be expected in 2-5 business days.
We will add additional shipping methods for books as time and demand allow.

Please contact us directly for orders of this size. Any orders of this size placed via our online Add to Cart links will be cancelled.
For Any Order:
Orders of any amount can also be directly placed by phone, fax, or standard mail. Any inquiry may be submitted by email, but please note that credit card information is not accepted by email under any circumstances.
All checks must be made payable to Indiana University.
Buy from Amazon Links:
As a vendor for Amazon in the United States, customers can also utilize the "Buy from Amazon" buttons on our book pages. Any Amazon requests for in print Slavica books are fulfilled as quickly as possible and any "Temporarily Out of Stock" status items that are in print can still be ordered. This method is not the same as ordering directly through us. If Amazon does not keep the title in stock, it may require additional time before shipping directly to a customer's address.
Journal Subscriptions:
Information for journal subscriptions including: availability, pricing, discount, and shipping, are detailed on the respective journal's page. Slavica journal subscriptions are by the year's volume. Notice for subscriptions for upcoming volumes will be sent to subscribers and then updated on the journal's page. Back volumes have limited availability, and customers are currently encouraged to contact us directly for details regarding previous issues.
Discount Information:
All individuals are eligible to receive a 10% discount of list price for the purchase of one or 20% discount for two or more books when ordering directly through us. Book resellers and dealers are eligible for a 20% discount applied to the list price of the books in an order. For more information regarding discounts, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Individuals:
Must prepay for their orders in US dollars by check made out to Indiana University, money order, or credit/debit card (we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and JCB) When placing your order, please provide the credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code, along with your full name as it appears on the card, billing address, and phone number or email. If the card is declined for any reason, the order will not be shipped and we will contact you regarding other payment options. Note for international customers: Checks, money orders, and electronic payments must draw on U.S. Banks.

Bookstores, Book Resellers, and Institutions:
Are eligible for post facto billing when we receive an order on an order form of letterhead. Payment must be made within thirty days of receipt. If payment is delayed for any reason, accounts will be placed on pro-forma billing. We are more than willing to accept orders for single books.
Examination and Desk Copies:
Slavica has reinstated a policy of sending free examination copies to instructors seriously considering one of our books for adoption as a required course textbook. This eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis only. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at slavica@indiana.edu.
Return Policy:
Slavica accepts returns for up to one year of the original purchase date IF AND ONLY IF the books are in original condition and are in the original shrink-wrap. If for any reason the books are returned in any condition other than original/new, the refund will be denied.
Please note that prior permission from Slavica is required to return merchandise. Permission may be requested by email (preferred), fax, or mail.
For all customers, credit is granted in the form of a credit memo. These memos may be applied to existing or future invoices, or may be refunded upon request. If any customer wishes to utilize a credit memo toward an invoice payment, this must be EXPLICITLY mentioned on any payment notifications, checks, etc. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
When a refund is requested after receipt of return, funds are returned to the card or PayPal account of origin when available. Refund checks are processed after all necessary documentation is received and could take as long as 4 weeks until receipt.
Shipping information:
Individuals: Orders for individuals may be shipped via UPS or USPS. USPS shipping charges start at a base $4.00 per order. Charges may vary depending on location and the weight of the order. UPS may be requested if expedited shipping is required. Options for UPS shipping include UPS ground, 2 day, and next day shipping. These costs will be passed on to the customer.
Book Re-sellers, Bookstores and Institutions:
Orders for bookstores, book re-sellers, and institutions are shipped via UPS by default. If another shipping method is required, specify this information on the purchase order.
Special Services:
For any special services regarding shipping, additional handling fees may apply.
Customers outside of the U.S.:
For international customers, we charge per US pound at cost through our carrier.
